not without incident

In case you didn't know, Christopher Nolan and company are in the works on a sequel to Batman Begins. The Dark Knight is to begin set constuction and some filming in early 2007, with the film slated to be released in 2008. As hinted in Begins, the Joker will appear in the movie. Harvey Dent, better known as Two-Face, will be in it as well and there are rumors about Penguin.

So, there is good news and bad news.

The main cast members and producers are returning for TDK. So far, out of three possible villans, only the Joker has been cast. It's the annoying prettyboy Heath Ledger. This was announced at ComicCon, and he showed up, so its official. I'm not the only one thinking Nolan lost his mind, there have been 'brokebat mountain' comments since the announcement. Ledgers gonna have to grow some balls to pull off being evil and psycho as Joker.
Fortunantly, it looks like the Joker will only be a minor part, most likley detailing his creation.
There are rumors about casting decisions for the other two bad guys, but nothing is final yet.
But this is being directed by Nolan, and providing he really hasn't lost his mind, there is hope for it.

I do want to see The Prestige, out Oct 20.
If you have not seen Equilibrium or Memento track them down and watch.

So now my roommate knows that I am insane.

Oops.
While discussing rent and people moving and so on, I just happend to mention that if he (or anyone) moved out without notice and bailed on rent, etc, I would track him down.
I did not mention violence, but he gave me a kind of 'o shit' look. I don't think he gets my sense of humor ;)
He must have noticed the various knives I possess, and the katana.
This particular roomie moved in about a month ago, and is one of three. The other two were throwing knives with me a few weeks ago, and are more on the "pointy things cool" side of the fence, but this guy is from the city.
I could have fun with this.

And now, for more entertainment!

yeah, yeah. I know. Over-using youtube already.
But what the hell.
Don't fuck with the copy machine.
